The
Radakoviches found their inspiration in the physical
world. Everything served as inspiration: cities and
buildings, trees and landscapes, and the wires, towers,
and smokestacks of the industrial world. Among the
many artists they admired were sculptors Mirko, Reg
Butler, Kenneth Armitage, Henry Moore and David Smith,
as well as fellow jewelers John Paul Miller, Ronald
Hayes Pearson, and Jack Prip.
During
their careers, the Radakoviches explored many genres
and worked in a wide variety of materials and media.
The beauty and innovation that characterized their
art attracted a large audience and most of their works
were sold. The images featured in this website have
been provided by Jean and Saika Radakovich, Ruth and
Svetozar's daughters. Please click on the jewelry,
sculpture, or woodwork icons to explore the wonderful
work of these two important artists
